BLEH FOOTY
Soccer crests have always been of interest to me. History and civic pride blended together to form a modern icon that both fairweather fans and hooligans can cheer for 90 minutes at a time (plus extra).

The Inspiration
Top-tier and mid-level European clubs who have embraced their badges with honor, or have bent to the tradition of their supporters. I wanted to explore shape, symbolism, and letterforms to create unique brands of honor.
The Results
A quartet of custom soccer crests from the fictional (yet appropriately soccer-crazed) municipality of BLEH, each boasting a number of championship pentacles woven into their design.

BLEH City
“The Children of the Night”
A mouthful of midnight purple and underlined with red, this intimidating modern crest takes a bite out of the competition.
BLEH United
“The Pumpkin Kings”
A bulbous roundel encompasses black and orange stripes, is regally adorned with an iron crown and creeping, crawling vines.

Athletic Club BLEH
“The Monsters”
Lurching forward with letters maniacally stitched together, this mean green badge is brought to life with two silver bolts.
BLEH Football Club
“The Vampires”
A patchwork shield bisected with a bold BLEH, balances crimson and baby blue club colors with a vampire fang emblem.
